Hand carded fibres

Spindernella uses local sheep fleece and alpaca where possible, together with recycled sari silk to create unique blends of hand carded fibres, for spinning or felting. British Blue-Faced Leicester, Shetland, Lleyn or Merino fleeces are also used together with British alpacas and wherever possible, ethical silks. Great care is taken to create wonderful colour combinations to encourage your own imagination and creativity.

About me

I am Nell, and I am a one-person endeavour, working from my front room, with an understanding husband!

Spinning started off being my de-stressor, but rapidly became far more than just a hobby. I can play with the creation of colour mixes and fibre combinations to product batts and yarns which are unique. I am committed to using local fleeces where I can and recycled fibres when possible.

Knowing the farms and the farmers where my fleeces come from, I am assured that their healthy and well cared for sheep and alpacas product beautiful wool. That is what I can bring to the yarns that I produce. Enjoy!
